We are seeking an experienced, tech-savvy professional with a thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices. This position is responsible for assisting with the recruitment process for multiple locations in different states. This involves each stage of the recruiting cycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates the different phases of the recruitment process
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager, General Managers and Sales Managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings; identify and recommend start dates and other pertinent details
- Schedule interviews, conduct background checks and drug screens, draft employment offers
- Identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
- Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and business needs to attract candidates
- Assist with job posting
- Collaborate with Marketing to promote the company's reputation and brand
- Represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with potential employees and other members of the public
- Establish and maintain relationships with potential employees through email, telephone, in person meetings and industry events
- Document all recruiting activity in database with a high degree of accuracy and correctness
- Maintain up-to-date calendar, be timely to interviews and responsive candidates
- Attend department meetings, participate in job fairs, keep current on industry trends

Requirements
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus
- At least 3 years of recruiting experience required
- Experience in home services industry (HVAC, Plumbing, Roofing, Pest, etc.) preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
- Proficient with applicant tracking software (ATS) Paylocity experience is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus
