How You’ll Contribute:

As a Tax Technology Staff in the Tax Advisory Services team, you’ll consult and work with tax team to develop tax automation strategies to use best available attributes from various accounting software programs.  Under the direction of the Tax Technology Director, you’ll also advise tax compliance teams during the planning and implementation of new technology for clients.

• Assist tax team with managing and delivering a full range of tax technology/transformation services and support
• Assist with new technology/process implementation
• Recommend solutions to tax team based on information obtained during discovery process of client needs
• Project Management (collaborating with IT, tax technology, professionals, and clients)
• Help ensure risk management and quality control
• Apply personal tax technical acumen while continuing to develop new technical knowledge specific to tax technology/transformation
• Demonstrate the ability to think strategically and execute, based on firm initiatives and future of the tax advisory practice
• Demonstrate an employee-first attitude while maintaining superior client service

What Skills You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technically related field
• 2 years of tax technology experience or tax compliance experience with an interest in pivoting to a tech-focused role
• Project Management of end-to-end technology solutions
• Proficiency with tax software applications CCH Axcess and GoSystems
• Excellent Excel skills (VBA)

How You’ll Stand Out:

• Experience with using and creating tax templates
• Strong communication skills and a champion of process and technology improvement
• Ability to work overtime during peak times of the year
