About this Job
Eridan is looking for a hands-on, process-driven Product Quality Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day quality operations of our products and processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards. You’ll be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality management systems, establishing best practices, and driving continuous improvements in quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
As our Product Quality Manager, you will:
- Process Implementation & Improvement: Develop, implement, and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control processes across the organization to ensure consistency and efficiency in product quality.
- Lead Quality Operations: Oversee and execute incoming and outgoing quality inspections for all components, PCBAs, enclosures, and systems.
- Product Quality Assurance: Monitor product performance through regular inspections and audits. Lead root cause and failure analyses to drive timely resolution of quality issues.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze quality performance data and create regular reports on product quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement and making data-driven recommendations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product development, manufacturing, contract manufacturers (CMs), and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues and ensure that all quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (ISO, Six Sigma, JEDEC) and maintain detailed quality records and documentation. Ensure that quality control and testing protocols are followed by the team.
- Customer Satisfaction: Proactively address customer complaints related to product quality and collaborate with the customer support team to identify and resolve any product issues.
Qualities of a Successful Candidate
- Experience: 4+ years in quality management within a technology hardware company, with hands-on involvement in product quality assurance, quality control, and process improvement.
- Technical Expertise: Solid background in IC fabrication, PCBA processes, supplier quality engineering, and Final Assembly Test and Packaging (FATP).
- Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with quality management standards such as ISO 9001, Lean Six Sigma, and JEDEC.
- Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead teams effectively with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong root cause and failure analysis skills with a data-driven mindset for implementing corrective actions.
- Process-Oriented: Experience creating and managing quality control processes (e.g., IQC, IPQC, FQC, OQC) and standard operating procedures.
- CM Collaboration: Demonstrated experience working closely with contract manufacturers (CMs) to maintain and improve product quality across the supply chain.
- Tools & Systems: Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, CAPA, and document control systems. Skilled in using data analysis software for quality tracking.
- Personal Attributes: Highly organized with strong project management capabilities, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and exceptional attention to detail. Comfortable in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with a deep commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.

Salary Range
Given our anticipated growth, we are open to hiring individuals with varying levels of experience to fill this role. Salary will be commensurate with job-related skills, experience and other relevant factors. The base salary range for the primary location of this role is between $120,000 and $150,000 plus stock options and benefits.
