As a People Analyst, you sit at the cutting edge of our operating model, transforming HR and talent data into strategic, visionary insights that propel our business forward. You’re a creative problem-solver who merges analytical precision with human-centric thinking, crafting tailored solutions that anticipate organizational needs and elevate our approach to talent management, recruitment, and employee experience.

You thrive in the intersection of technology, people strategy, and innovation. Leveraging AI, predictive analytics, and advanced visualization tools, you enable People and Business leadership to see around corners and seize opportunities. Your work will support our ambitious FY26 strategic pillars: How We're Organized, How We Grow, How We Engage, and How We Communicate, directly impacting how we scale, develop talent, and drive sustained business success.

Reporting into the People & Workplace team, you'll become a vital connector across People Operations, Talent Acquisition, People Business Partners, and broader business functions. You are deeply proficient with enterprise systems: Workday and Greenhouse, and you excel at using innovative data visualization and storytelling tools (eg. Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc.) to communicate complex insights clearly.

Above all, beyond just observing data - you actively harness it to unlock potential, remove friction, and inspire proactive, data-informed decision-making that positions Justworks as a benchmark in employee experience and organizational performance.

Your Success Profile

What You Will Work On

  • Visionary People Analytics:
    • Create sophisticated, predictive workforce models to anticipate organizational shifts, inform workforce planning, and optimize talent strategies.
    • Conduct deep analyses of recruitment funnels, talent pipelines, employee sentiment, retention patterns, and performance metrics, proactively surfacing insights that shape strategic decision-making.
  • Cutting-Edge Visualization & Storytelling:
    • Develop visually compelling, intuitive dashboards and narratives powered by advanced analytics and AI-driven insights to influence executive decision-making.
    • Produce bespoke visualizations that align seamlessly with Justworks’ strategic priorities, fostering transparency, alignment, and action.
  • People Analytics Leadership:
    • Champion data fluency across the entire People team, cultivating a culture of informed decision-making through training, resources, and proactive insights.
    • Serve as the go-to expert, empowering colleagues with best-in-class analytical tools and methodologies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Forge deep partnerships with our Data teams in Technology, Finance, IT, Talent Acquisition, DEIB, and Operations to embed into strategic workforce planning and talent processes.
  • Innovative Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement:
    • Lead proactive explorations of emerging analytics and AI capabilities, piloting new tools and methods to enhance Justworks’ People analytics maturity and operational agility.
    • Innovate continuously, finding smarter, faster ways to deliver insight, streamline processes, and create breakthrough analytics solutions.

How You Will Do Your Work

  • Communicating with Impact: Turning complex analytics into clear, compelling narratives that inspire action and clarity across the organization.
  • Cultivating Strategic Partnerships: Becoming a trusted advisor across functions, seamlessly integrating analytics with Justworks’ overall business strategy.
  • Leading with Curiosity and Innovation: Constantly pushing boundaries, experimenting, and adopting cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to maintain Justworks’ competitive edge.
  • Collaboration across the business: Working with the Data teams - and StratOps/data partners across the business to contextualize our People Data and aim higher, together.
  • Modeling Our Values (COGIS): Consistently embodying Camaraderie, Openness, Grit, Integrity, and Simplicity in your work, influencing our culture positively through every interaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in People Analytics within high-growth, technology-driven environments.
  • Advanced proficiency with Workday and Greenhouse.
  • Exceptional skills in data visualization and storytelling, particularly with Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or equivalent tools.
  • Demonstrated success in using AI and predictive analytics to solve complex organizational challenges (particularly within HR)
  • Outstanding strategic thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to influence and engage senior leaders with insightful, data-driven narratives.
  • Passionate about using data as a lever for growth, innovation, and creating exceptional employee experiences.

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $109,000.00 - $119,000.00 per year.

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location.  Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
