Job Description

Description

Looking for a workplace that actually feels good to be part of? At Cosmos Corporation, we’re all about meaningful work, great people, and a mission that matters. Our team lives out our core values every day, creating a culture that’s supportive, purpose-driven, and genuinely fun. We believe in investing in our people and giving you space to grow, create, and thrive.

Headquartered in St. Peters, MO, Cosmos is a leader in natural health and wellness products for pets. We make effective, high-quality pet care products with ingredients pet parents can trust and benefits they can see and feel. From skin to smiles to fur, our brands are all about helping pet parents ensure their fur babies look and feel their absolute best.

We’re growing fast and looking for our next ideal team player to join us as a Social Media Content & Influencer Specialist. If you’re creative, collaborative, and love staying ahead of what’s next in digital culture—you just might be our person.

We’re looking for a social-savvy creative who lives and breathes digital culture. If you’ve managed influencer campaigns—or been an influencer yourself—you’ll thrive here. In this role, you’ll lead social media for Cosmos brands across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, helping us shape a fresh, authentic voice that drives engagement and real results. You’ll create 2–3 standout posts per week that align with our bigger goals (think: ecommerce wins and brand love), while collaborating closely with executive leadership, creative teams, and agency partners. You’ll also roll up your sleeves to support paid influencer campaigns, test new ideas, and keep content agile, relevant, and scroll-stopping. We value flexibility, a scrappy mindset, and someone who’s not afraid to try something new. With backup from our analytics team, you’ll track performance and play a key role in reporting impact to top leadership. Let’s make some noise—strategically.

What You'll Be Doing

- Own the Social Calendar

Work side-by-side with our Engagement and Performance Marketing teams to shape the weekly content plan. You’ll help spotlight hero products, jump on timely trends, and bring big campaign moments to life across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

- Create & Curate Content That Pops

  • Make scroll-stopping posts using tools like Canva (and other AI Content Creating Tools)—and on occasion, collaborate with designers and editors to bring your vision to life.
  • Bring fresh ideas to the table by watching what’s working for others (yes, playing on social is part of the gig).
  • Host brainstorms that spark creativity and keep us riding the wave of what’s trending.
  • Show up in the comments and DMs—responding, engaging, and building a real community in our unique brand voice.

- Collaborate With Creators & Agencies

Help manage the content flow and promotion strategy across both owned and paid channels. You’ll partner with influencers, agencies, and internal teams to make sure everything aligns and hits the right vibe.

- Track, Learn & Level Up

  • Stay sharp on what competitors are doing—voice, visuals, strategy—and use those insights to evolve our own approach.
  • Tune into what our audience is loving (or skipping) and help adjust our social voice and tone as we grow.
  • Use performance data to refine content strategy, boost engagement, and turn learnings into action.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, or digital strategy—bonus points if you've worked with CPG brands or in the pet product space.
  • A strong understanding of how to grow communities, build engagement, and drive measurable results across platforms.
  • A creative mindset, collaborative spirit, and the ability to move fast without losing the details.

What You Bring To The Table

- You’re a Natural Storyteller

You know how to craft messages that actually mean something to the audience. Your content connects, converts, and reflects the brand’s vibe—while driving real impact (think: more followers, better engagement, and boosted eComm conversions).

- You’re a Creative Problem Solver

You thrive on collaboration and know how to pull great ideas from different people and places. Whether you’re working with design, marketing, or leadership, you help bring social to life in a way that feels fresh, aligned, and impactful.

- You’re Scrappy and Smart with Tools

You’re comfortable using Canva, basic video editing software, and AI content tools to keep up with content demands. You know how to create a high-volume, high-quality feed that feels relevant, on-brand, and real—without needing a huge production team.

- You’ve Got a Strong Social Instinct

You get the platforms and can tell what content hits home with our audience. You communicate in a way that feels natural and brand-aligned—whether you're writing a caption, replying to a comment, or jumping into a trending convo.

- You Understand the Bigger Picture

You’re not just posting to post. You understand how social fits into the marketing puzzle and love collaborating with both Engagement and Performance Marketing teams to make sure the message is cohesive, strategic, and impactful.

A Day In The Life

As our Social Media Content & Influencer Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of the conversation—literally. You’ll spend your day bringing content to life that feels fun, relevant, and totally in sync with what our audience actually wants to see. You’ll bounce between creative brainstorms, campaign planning, and real-time content management, while staying plugged into what’s trending.

You’ll collaborate closely with Engagement and Performance Marketing teams to shape our editorial calendar, generate ideas that feel fresh and scroll-worthy, and lead the charge on content creation—from concept to post. Whether you're editing a quick TikTok, coordinating with an influencer agency, or jumping into comments to engage with followers, no two days will look the same.

You’ll also have a seat at the table with senior leadership, portfolio teams, agency partners, and insights teams to make sure our strategy is tight and our message is resonating. You’ll use data to guide decisions, adapt content based on performance, and help evolve our social voice as we grow.

And don’t forget—every Wednesday at 11:40 a.m., you’ll head to the lunchroom (or log in to our teams meeting) for the Cosmos Minute, our weekly all-company huddle where we celebrate wins, share news, and get to know each other a little better.
