POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Corporate Paralegal to join our Legal team in supporting the company’s renewable energy operations. This role will be instrumental in managing corporate governance, regulatory filings, contract administration, and compliance initiatives across a growing portfolio of energy infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate legal matters and a passion for supporting clean energy development.

This position is preferred to be on-site at our headquarters in Irvine, California. Candidates located outside of a 50-mile radius from our Irvine office may be considered for a remote opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and maintain corporate records, including entity formations, resolutions, and annual filings for multiple project and holding companies.

  • Assist with the drafting, reviewing, and tracking of a wide range of commercial agreements (e.g., NDAs, vendor contracts, service agreements).

  • Support contract lifecycle management, including monitoring key dates, renewals, and obligations.

  • Coordinate and support due diligence processes for project financings, mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.

  • Manage the organization and tracking of real estate, interconnection, and permitting documentation for renewable energy projects.

  • Assist with compliance tracking related to federal, state, and local regulations affecting project development and operations.

  • Liaise with outside counsel and internal stakeholders to support corporate transactions and legal initiatives.

  • Support risk management, insurance documentation, and legal document archiving.

  • Assist with special projects and research as needed by the legal team.

  • Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a corporate paralegal, preferably in the energy, infrastructure, or real estate sector (experience in the energy industry is strongly preferred).

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth company or in-house legal department preferred.

  • Familiarity with renewable energy project documentation and structure is a plus.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently with sound judgment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.

WORK AUTHORIZATION

The ideal candidate for this role will have authorization to work in the US prior to joining TransGrid Energy LLC. The Company will not sponsor or offer assistance with the sponsorship for work authorization in the United States.
