Position Title: Social Media Community Engager (TikTok)
Location: S.H.A.R.E. Community Development Corp Company Headquarters, Houston, Texas
Employment Type: Part-Time, 20 hours per week

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, Flexible 4-hour shift starting between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM, ending 4 hours later

Compensation: $25 USD / hour.

IMPORTANT: WE ARE HIRING IMMEDIATELY. Candidates with immediate availability will be preferred. This is a Part-Time, in office W2 job.

Overview

We seek a creative Social Media Community Engager to oversee our company’s TikTok account. The role involves posting company-provided video content, crafting engaging questions to drive interaction, growing followers, and engaging with users to promote our brand, products, and services. The candidate will work at our headquarters using a company computer, aligning with our brand’s vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Posting: Upload and schedule provided videos, optimizing with trending hashtags, sounds, effects, and features like Duets and Stitches.
• Engagement: Write compelling questions in captions and comments to encourage likes, comments, and shares, and interact via comments, Duets, and Stitches.
• Community Building: Engage with users by commenting on trending videos and responding to audience feedback to foster relationships and enhance brand visibility.
• Follower Growth: Use trends, hashtags, and collaborations to grow followers, optimizing the profile for discoverability.
• Brand Promotion: Highlight products and services through videos, challenges, and engagement, driving interest and conversions.
• Analytics Monitoring: Use TikTok Analytics to track performance (views, engagement, follower growth) and refine strategies.
• Collaboration: Share analytics and audience insights with the content team to align content with TikTok’s trend-driven platform.
• Compliance: Follow company IT policies, brand guidelines, and TikTok’s community standards while working on-site. We will be monitoring adherence to the 4-hour per day requirement asking employees to check-in and out utilizing a Time-Tracking platform.

Requirements

• Proven TikTok management experience with a focus on engagement and growth.
• Expertise in TikTok features (Duets, Stitches, Sounds, Analytics).
• Ability to write engaging, trend-aligned questions and captions.
• Strong communication skills for interaction via comments and videos.
• Familiarity with TikTok Analytics.
• Effective time management for a 4-hour shift.
• Comfortable working on company equipment at headquarters.
• Passion for short-form video and trend-driven content.

Work Environment

• Work at company headquarters on a company-provided computer.
• 4-hour daily shift (Monday–Friday), starting between 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, aligned with peak TikTok viewing hours.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams in-person as needed.
