Position Summary
The Communications and Executive Assistant leads internal communications to align employees with company values, safety initiatives, and strategic goals while supporting engagement through newsletters, announcements, and events. This role also provides high-level administrative support to C-suite executives, ensuring seamless coordination, clear communication, and confidentiality. Acting as a strategic liaison, the position promotes alignment across departments and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage internal communication strategies to align employees with company goals, company Values, safety initiatives, security protocols, and operational updates.
- Draft and edit clear, consistent messaging for company-wide announcements, newsletters, internal campaigns, policy updates, and leadership communication.
- Support the President & CEO and leadership team with content creation for town halls, employee forums, and cross-functional communications.
- Partner with HR, Operations, Security, and Compliance to communicate effectively around performance management, training, culture initiatives.
- Maintain and manage internal communication tools, including intranet pages, bulletin boards, and digital displays.
- Create, maintain, and run the company Podcast as the interviewer.
- Work closely with other Executive Admins and Marketing Manager to ensure alignment across all areas.
- Assist in planning and facilitating internal events and leadership offsites.
- Provide proactive administrative support to C-suite executives, including complex calendar management, meeting coordination, and domestic travel planning.
- Prepare executive briefing materials, memos, and presentations with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism.
- Track follow-ups and key initiatives from executive meetings and strategic planning sessions.
- Handle sensitive and classified information with the highest level of discretion and security awareness.
- Act as a liaison between executive leadership and internal departments, promoting smooth information flow and alignment.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in internal communications and executive support, preferably in a manufacturing or government contracting environment.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and execute across competing demands.
- Proven ability to work with executive leadership and maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and communication tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Zoom).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting C-suite leaders in a DoD contractor or regulated manufacturing setting.
- Understanding of government contracting communications protocols and sensitivities.
- Background in employee engagement, culture-building.
- High emotional intelligence and situational awareness.
Physical Requirements
- Must have the following physical abilities:
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, reach, and lift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods at a desk or table as well as machine tools or printers.
