We are looking for a Technical Solutions Consultant to join Ridgeline’s high-performing Pre-Sales organization. In this pivotal role, you’ll serve as a trusted technical advisor to prospects and clients across the investment management industry. Your mission is to translate the power and sophistication of Ridgeline’s enterprise platform—built from the ground up using the latest cloud and AI tools—into compelling solutions that address our customers’ real-world challenges. This is your opportunity to directly shape the buying experience and influence the adoption of a truly modern platform in a historically underserved space. You’ll leverage powerful technologies like AI, cloud-native architectures, and tools like ChatGPT to demonstrate innovation in action.
What will you do?
- Serve as a trusted subject matter expert on Ridgeline’s architecture, security framework, and product capabilities with a focus on AI and cloud-native technologies
- Collaborate closely with Sales to engage technical decision-makers, including CTOs, IT Directors, and Security Officers, providing expert-level guidance throughout the sales cycle
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations and technical presentations that clearly convey Ridgeline’s value proposition to technical and business audiences
- Partner with prospective customers to identify their unique technical requirements and map those to Ridgeline’s capabilities and vision
- Create impactful technical collateral including whitepapers, solution briefs, and architecture diagrams that showcase our innovation and AI-driven features
- Support Sales & Marketing in developing thought leadership content, hosting webinars, and participating in conferences that amplify Ridgeline’s technical voice
- Stay ahead of market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to continuously refine and elevate our go-to-market strategies
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven success in a Technical Solutions Consultant or similar technical pre-sales role
- Strong understanding of modern software architecture, cloud platforms, and enterprise security practices
- Demonstrated expertise in explaining advanced technologies, especially AI, to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for simplifying complex concepts
- Experience in or exposure to the financial services or investment management industry is a plus
- Passion for innovative technologies, and a desire to be part of a dynamic, collaborative team
Bonus:
- Familiarity with SaaS-based platforms and public cloud environments (e.g., AWS)
Prior experience working in an early-stage or high-growth tech startup - Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies or tools such as ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot

The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is outlined below. The targeted cash compensation for this position is: $106,000 to $153,000 OTE. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
