Shopify Performance Manager (DTC-focused) for a US-based Marketing Agency
Job Description
Paired is a global staffing and recruiting agency that pairs remote work with top-tier talent. We admire the importance of innovative social media strategies and are committed to connecting talented individuals with great companies that need their unique skills. Our mission is to provide great jobs to gifted people, regardless of location.
🚀 Our client is a bold, fast-growing creative and growth agency based in Irvine, California. We partner with DTC brands that are ready to scale—delivering scroll-stopping content, performance-backed strategy, and unmatched creative speed. We’re building a rocket ship, and the best part is: we’re still early.
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a high-performance Shopify Performance Manager (DTC-focused) to take full ownership of our Shopify storefront and broader e-commerce experience. You’ll be responsible for optimizing product pages, improving UX/UI, increasing conversion rates, and using data to drive retention and customer lifetime value (LTV).
You won’t be building email campaigns from scratch — we have a dedicated lifecycle team that executes Klaviyo campaigns. Your role will focus mainly on aligning site updates, launch timelines, and flow logic to support the broader retention strategy.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the Shopify storefront (theme updates, product pages, apps, integrations).
- Oversee and improve UX/UI, checkout flow, and AOV strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing team on email, SMS, upsells, and funnel flows.
- Run reports and optimize based on analytics and customer behavior.
- Monitor store speed, functionality, and tech stack performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 3+ years of experience managing Shopify e-commerce (nutrition/supplement industry a plus).
- Solid understanding of CRO, customer journey, and Shopify apps.
- Proficiency with tools like Klaviyo, ReCharge, Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.
- Ability to execute and implement improvements autonomously
Nice to haves:
- Experience working with supplement/nutrition DTC brands
- Graphic design or basic front-end skills are a bonus
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- A seat on an early rocket ship with huge growth potential
- Creative freedom paired with performance data to learn and improve
- A team that actually cares about great work
- Opportunities to shape client brands
- Competitive pay and potential equity upside as we scale
