Job Purpose: Lucas Oil is seeking a highly organized and energetic Marketing Coordinator to support the marketing department specifically in the area of brand activation & ticketing coordination to support key elements of our brand marketing efforts. This role plays an important part in executing on-site sponsorship activations, managing ticket distribution, and helping deliver memorable hospitality experiences.
This entry-to-mid-level position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, service-minded, and eager to grow within a fast-paced, high-visibility marketing environment. The Coordinator will support events, promotions, ticket tracking, and brand experience initiatives across all Lucas Oil marketing and initiatives.
Duties:
Event & Activation Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of brand activations at events.
- Help coordinate logistics including event setup/takedown, signage, promo items, and staffing needs
- Represent Lucas Oil on-site to support brand visibility and fan engagement
- Support internal and partner teams to ensure activations run smoothly and on-brand
Ticketing Coordination:
- Assist with the allocation, tracking, and distribution of tickets through Lucas Oil’s ticketing software platform TicketManager
- Maintain up-to-date records and ticket usage logs
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and partners to ensure timely and accurate ticket delivery
- Provide guest service support as needed for VIP and general ticket inquiries
Hospitality Support:
- Support the execution of Lucas Oil hospitality events, including VIP experiences, events, games, etc.
- Help manage RSVP lists, coordinate event materials, and assist with setup and check-in
- Ensure all guests receive a polished, branded experience
Marketing Utility & Department Support:
- Assist in the coordination of promotional items, apparel, and branded materials for events and partners
- Support employee event planning (holiday parties, summer gatherings, etc.)
- Help compile recaps and reports post-events
- Provide general administrative and utility support to the brand experience team
Requirements
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or related field (or relevant work experience)
- 1–2 years of experience in marketing (internships or part-time experience considered)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ticketing platforms is a plus
- Passion for events, entertainment, and live experiences
Physical Requirements
- Must lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends for events
- Ability to lift and set up event equipment
- Ability to drive event activations vehicles
