We need a Marketing Manager to optimize the adoption of technical platforms for our growing business.
The Marketing Manager collaborates with the VP of Marketing & Sales to shape and implement strategic marketing and communication initiatives that support business development, workforce recruitment, and internal engagement. This role leads brand messaging, creative development, and the daily operations of the marketing function. The Marketing Manager oversees the creative team and supports cross-departmental collaboration to ensure consistency, clarity, and visibility across platforms. The role balances hands-on execution with long-term planning in alignment with company goals and growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Develop and execute annual marketing plans, campaigns, and content calendars aligned with company objectives.
- Contribute to long-term brand and communication strategies in coordination with executive leadership.
Brand & Messaging Management
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all internal and external platforms, including web, social, video, and print.
- Safeguard the brand identity and visual standards across departments, job sites, and field operations.
Creative Direction & Content Development
- Lead the creative process for all marketing materials—digital, print, and environmental graphics.
- Approve all content, including social media posts, email campaigns, video production, photography, and print collateral.
- Direct drone and media use for branding, documentation, and recruitment.
Website & Digital Oversight
- Manage corporate website updates, content accuracy, and user experience.
- Ensure SEO, accessibility, and performance standards are met.
Vendor & Budget Management
- Oversee vendor research and participate in selection processes.
- Manage marketing budgets and align spending with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with the VP of Marketing & Sales on final vendor approvals and contract execution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the primary liaison between Marketing and Sales, HR, Safety, and Operations teams.
- Provide marketing and communication support for recruitment, internal campaigns, and safety initiatives.
Sales & Business Development Support
- Support sales efforts by coordinating marketing around project milestones, customer wins, and strategic pursuits.
- Collaborate with Sales to develop presentations, sell sheets, and promotional content tailored to prospects.
Analytics & Performance Reporting
- Track engagement, campaign performance, and website traffic to evaluate marketing effectiveness.
- Report insights and recommendations to leadership on a regular basis.
Internal Communication & Culture
- Design and coordinate newsletters and internal updates in partnership with HR and executive staff.
- Oversee company store marketing, including inventory selection and brand consistency in promotional items.
Community Engagement
- Lead marketing support for the company's “Building Stronger Communities” initiative.
- Coordinate branded materials, event promotion, messaging, and scheduling for public-facing initiatives.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing; experience in construction, concrete, or building materials industry strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of leading marketing campaigns, branding, and team management.
- Strong visual and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with marketing platforms (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CRM tools, email marketing, CMS systems).
- Experience managing vendors, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with construction project cycles and customer relationship dynamics in the concrete or building materials industry.
- Experience working with drone photography, media production, and digital asset management.
