Job Description

Responsibilities

The incumbent, as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, provides the following services to patients and/or families involved with MSJMCs Cardiac program:

Psychosocial assessment

Counseling

Exploration of effective coping skills education

Coordination of the patient's progress through the continuum of care

Qualifications

Minimum Requirtments: 

• 2 years of acute care hospital experience or a combination of hospital and other clinical experience
• CA Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Masters degree in Social Work from a university or college accredited by the Council of Social Work Education
• BLS from the American Heart Assoication
