Job Summary

Create Music Group is currently looking for a Project Management Intern for the M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) department. This Internship position will support the Project Manager in Mergers and Acquisitions with all aspects of administration relating to project management. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented and has strong communication skills, time management skills, and the ability to organize data. 

This is a part-time internship designed for current graduate students. Interns must be eligible to work in the U.S. and available for 10–20 hours per week over a 3–4 month term. This is a hybrid-work role - interns must be able to report to the Los Angeles headquarters 2-3 times per week.

Responsibilities

  • Create and update weekly “post-release” progress (data) reports for Joint Venture Artist projects
  • Run daily sweeps on the backend of artist accounts to look out for any “spikes” in streaming numbers
  • Administration of tasks on Jira to stay up to date on the status of marketing campaigns
  • Maintaining tracker sheets such as the Rollout/budget and Marketing campaign tracker sheets
  • Organizing & keeping track of Marketing campaign reports & associated expenses
  • Gathering deliverables and communicating/following up with JV labels in regards to project submission and deadlines
  • Assist Project Manager submitting requests for marketing proposals and implementing artist development strategy.
  • This internship will also include a research project that must be completed and presented to M&A leadership at the end of your term.

Qualifications 

  • Experience or basis of study in music, entertainment, business, or data preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) both with internal and external teams
  • Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through
  • Extremely organized with superior time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize under tight schedules while maintaining production of high-quality work
  • Accountability to independently follow through with proper and consistent updates to stakeholders
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Apps, Slack, Asana, Tableau
  • Experience in basic social media functions/platforms and familiarity with current trends/campaigns.
  • Must be a creative team player with ability to strategically plan in an ambiguous environment

Pay Scale

$16.00 - $17.87/hr

Program Details

  • Start Date: Flexible based on academic calendar
  • Hybrid role: must be able to attend in person in the LA office 2-3 times per week
  • Length: 3–4 months
  • Schedule: 10–20 hours per week (flexible around school commitments)
