The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Defense and Space (BDS) International Space Station (ISS) Financial Integration team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst – Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) located in Houston, Texas.
The Senior Financial Analyst will
Lead the ISS Program in the monthly/annual corporate financial reporting requirements as well as the Annual Long Range Business Planning activities
Be called upon at times to assist the International Space Station (ISS) program in monthly financial activities including financial forecasting, budgeting, and monthly closing

Position Responsibilities:
Financial Modeling & Forecasting:
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to forecast company performance, support Long-Range Business Plans (LRBP) strategic initiatives, and coordinate annual base forecasts
- Makes recommendations to senior management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience
Budgeting & Variance Analysis:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and regular financial forecasts, analyze variances against budget, and identify key trends and areas for improvement
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare regular financial reports for management and stakeholders, providing detailed analysis of financial performance and key metrics
Ad-hoc Analysis & Special Projects:
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and support special projects, as needed, to address specific business needs and strategic initiatives
- Support Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) audits for audits as required
Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather accurate data, ensure alignment of financial plans, and communicate financial insights effectively
Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends and variances, and provide insights to support decision-making
Assists in the ISS Monthly Financial Reporting:
- Initiates assignments and leads integration and analysis of resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; financial EACs for contracts or programs
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years or experience in a finance related position including but not limited to: Financial Operations, Accounting, Estimating, or Financial Planning
3+ years of experience in using advanced features in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, and Power Point
1+ years of experience performing Estimates at Completion (EAC)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
3+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
Experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
Interfacing with senior management or program management

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $106,250 - $143,750
