ABOUT ANTELOPE:
Antelope is an omnichannel pet consumer platform that was founded in August 2021 with the mission to elevate the lives of pets by delivering the highest quality products across all pet products and services via a buy-and-build strategy. “Ante” means to increase the stakes or consideration of, and “lope” means to leap with bounding steps together. Antelope is elevating the standards of pet care by buying, building, and growing high-quality, natural pet brands. The company is backed by Alpine Investors and have made five acquisitions so far (Bocce’s Bakery, Diggin’ Your Dog / Super Snouts, Doggo, My Perfect Pet and Ark Naturals), and they’re just getting started! Antelope has plans to acquire 5-15 additional all-natural, high-quality brands to become the one-stop shop for pet parents.
OVERVIEW:
We’re on the hunt for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our dynamic independent pet sales team! Our most successful team members are self-starters with winning mindsets, adeptly managing multiple accounts to achieve ambitious goals.
In this pivotal role, you’ll get to completely own your territory - strengthening business with existing accounts and forging valuable new relationships to drive growth. You’ll have the exciting opportunity to sell all Antelope brands, including Bocce’s Bakery, Diggin’ Your Dog / Super Snouts, Ark Naturals, and My Perfect Pet.
Travel is required for field coverage, including trade shows and sales meetings, which will involve overnight stays. If you're ready to make an impact in the pet industry, we want to hear from you!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cultivate and expand relationships with both new and existing accounts
Drive lead generation, prospecting, qualification, and closing of potential new customers
Educate prospects on the value of all Antelope products and services through compelling pitches and trainings
Leverage provided data and CRM tools to enhance sales strategies and pinpoint growth opportunities
Effectively manage within a designated trade budget
Collaborate with team members and support each other to win
Adapt and lend support wherever needed as Antelope continues to grow!
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in pet or CPG sales strongly preferred
- Energetic and outgoing, with a genuine passion for pets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident presenter who can deliver engaging, persuasive pitches
- Strong multitasker who thrives in fast-paced settings and hits targets
- Comfortable making decisions independently and using sound judgment
- Exceptionally organized with great attention to detail
- Positive, team-oriented mindset that lifts others up
- Must have reliable transportation and be open to monthly travel
- And of course - must love dogs or cats (and treats!) 🐾
