Job Description

The Manager, Strategy will be responsible for strategic and tactical management of the AbbVie Complete Access programs within the AbbVie portfolio. They will drive innovative solutions in response to payer market dynamics in an evolving competitive, regulatory, and compliance landscape, this role will be central to the execution of patient access and support programs. In addition to being an important member of the Complete Access team, key collaborating partners will be patient services vendor(s), operations, field teams, and HUB services. The position requires a highly motivated individual that can work cross-functionally to accomplish agreed upon objectives.    

Responsibilities:

•Work as part of a team to leverage best practices, standard procedures, and knowledge to identify opportunities for improvement and/or cost avoidance.

•Operational management of all aspects of Complete Access Programs

•Management of multiple program vendors to ensure operational effectiveness

•Strategic design and implementation of innovative solutions and recommend business rules in response to aggressive market dynamics

•Partner with analytics team to ensure detailed and timely performance reports

•Work closely with all patient services team members to ensure operational alignment

•Work cross functionally with internal departments to ensure alignment with strategic vision along with Compliance/Legal requirements.

•Works with department leadership and management team to establish priorities and areas of focus.

Qualifications

•Foundational knowledge of the US access and reimbursement environment

•Experience working with and managing large tactical programs involving multiple external partners

•Operational experience working on customer service programs

•Strong communication, presentation and inter-personal skills

•Bachelor's degree required.

•Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a highly matrixed environment.

•Excellent verbal and written communications skills and highly capable in working with senior team members.

•3-5+ years of management experience.

•3-5+ years in Enterprise/Program/Project Management experience.

•3-5+ years translating business needs into solution design.

•Balance of business acumen, with demonstrated proficiency in application support and process efficiency.

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. ​
