Job Summary:

As a Field Marketing Representative, you play a key role in accelerating organizational success by generating revenue through growing both new and existing residential broadband and telecommunications services clients. You will also play a key role in community relations through organizing and staffing events in the communities served.

What you bring to the position:

  • A love for the thrill of pursuing and closing new residential accounts and a driven desire to capitalize on your experience in developing sales leads from initial contact to successful closure.
  • You have strong selling skills in residential broadband and telecommunications services, and you achieve sales objectives through both sales to new customers and additional sales to existing customers.

Requirements

You successfully fulfill the following essential duties and responsibilities:

You utilize your SALES ACUMEN to drive sales by directly participating in the sales process:

  • Identify and targeting prospective customers through phone contact, email, and other means to creatively build rapport and maintain a healthy sales pipeline. This might include establishing sales campaigns, educational events, phone calls, emails, attending community events, door-to-door contacts, and other creative approaches that lead to new sales. 
  • Take inbound calls and providing information in response to inquiries about products and services.
  • Work with the residential sales manager to develop and carryout sales plans to penetrate new markets and expand within existing markets.

You use your COLLABORATIVE SKILLS:

  • Communicate with other departments to ensure order completion.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to help drive lead generation. 
  • Support the company by completing other duties as assigned.

You use your TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about the company’s residential products and services.

You use your CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS:

  • Partner and engage with customers to understand their needs and objectives. 
  • Assist customers with new service requests, service plan changes.

You utilize your ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS:

  • Manage contacts, opportunities and sales activity via CRM and other software accurately and timely. 
  • Plan and organize events or coordinate with community partners to participate in local events. 
  • Assist with competitive research and reporting.

You will meet the following educational, licensing, certification, and work experience requirements:

  • Experience in office productivity software (email, calendar, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, etc.). 
  • Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license; driving record must meet the criteria of the company’s insurance carrier for acceptance of coverage. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of customer service and sales experience preferred.
