TJT is seeking a Senior Tax Associate become an integral part of our tax team in a full-time capacity. This individual will work primarily within our real estate practice focusing largely on land and multi-family housing development. This is an exciting opportunity to serve as a valued business advisor and deliver industry-focused taxation services to middle market clients. As a Senior Associate, you will work with firm leadership to serve TJT clients and grow the business, having a direct impact on the firm’s success.

To be successful as a Senior Tax Associate at TJT, you will have at least three years of prior experience in public accounting with a focus on real estate clients and exhibit diverse accounting knowledge and proficiency with financial statement interpretation. Additional essential functions and professional prerequisites include:

  • Preparation and review of partnership and individual tax returns
  • Experience using CCH Axcess Tax and Engagement trial balance software
  • Strong communication skills required for managing and developing client relationships
  • Prior experience consulting with clients within the real estate industry
  • Current CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA certification
  • Strong technical tax proficiency
