Director of Surgical Services – Full-Time Days – Las Vegas, NV Area
Salary Range: $106,766 – $160,160/year
Incentive Bonus: Up to 17.5% of base pay

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Surgical Services to lead perioperative operations at a busy, high-volume acute care facility in the Las Vegas area. This role offers 24/7 operational responsibility and oversight of OR, Preop/PACU, PAT, and SPD teams, with approximately 110 FTEs across 13 operating rooms (including Cysto, Hybrid, and DaVinci robotic suites).

Highlights:

• Full-time leadership role – Days only, No weekends

• Rapid growth and surgical expansion – 850–900 surgeries/month

• Specialties include spine, colorectal, thoracic, neuro, joint replacement, and advanced robotics

• Direct reports: OR, Preop/PACU, PAT, and SPD (with support from supervisors and CNCs)

• Reports to a VP of Surgical Services

Responsibilities:

• Oversee strategic operations, staffing, budget, and compliance across all perioperative departments

• Lead initiatives in surgical quality, safety, and patient experience

• Partner with physician stakeholders to optimize OR scheduling and throughput

• Mentor and coach nurse leaders, charge RNs, and techs

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards

• Lead capital planning, performance improvement, and employee engagement programs

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required

• 3+ years of leadership in surgical services (Manager or higher level)

• Active RN license in Nevada or compact eligible

• BLS required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Admin, or Business

• CNOR or CSSM certification
