Job Description
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, as well as experience with project coordination in a commercial construction environment. In partnership with leadership and other stakeholders, the Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that current and future construction projects are executed successfully by gathering and preparing comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, budgets, equipment, and other applicable information.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate all current and future project management activities throughout multiple states.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic and fast-growth environment.
• Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes.
• Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives.
• Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
• Ensure that stakeholders ’needs are met as projects evolve.
• Assist with budget preparation, schedules, step-by-step action plans, and prepare and interpret flowcharts.
• Analyze risks and opportunities and advise on next steps when necessary. • Oversee project procurement management.
• Monitor project progress and exercise good judgement to handle issues that arise.
• Act as a point of contact and communicate project status as necessary.
• Work independently and as part of a team with a commitment to quality and customer service.
• Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures.
• Issue appropriate paperwork including contracts, terms of agreement insurance liens, releases, subcontract issuances, etc.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
• Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
• Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role.
• Travel including overnight(s) as/when needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in construction, project management, or business preferred.
• PMP / PRINCE2 certification is a plus or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
• Three to five years’ experience in a project coordinator capacity.
• Working knowledge of construction, project management.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and pulling relevant components out of complex situations to connect the dots and make sound decisions as well as work with minimal direction.
• Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
• Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable guidelines, regulations, and ordinances.
• Understand the overall organizational structure and make recommendations as business needs continue to evolve.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and maintain consistent and regular attendance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Planner, Procore, Basecamp or Trello and other related software ( Pro-Core and Yardi experience is a plus! )
