The Architectural & Graphic Designer is responsible for participating in the creative vision and design excellence of the firm. This significant role ensures the delivery of innovative, high-quality architectural and design solutions that align with the firm's mission and client expectations. This position requires collaboration with project teams, clients, and leadership to establish design strategies and maintain a culture of creativity and innovation. 


Responsibilities

  • Working with the Studio Fritz team, support all internal and external requests for architectural visuals and graphics. Provide graphic and visual design concepts for projects.
  • Translate complex ideas related to the built environment into clear, engaging visual content for both internal and external audiences.
  • Design and maintain RLF’s design standards and corporate brand identity.
  • Design client-facing deliverables, including project narratives, infographics, signage, branding, and environmental graphics.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project goals, constraints, and opportunities.
  • Provide additional support to Marketing Team graphic and communication needs when required.
  • Maintain quality control and design consistency across all projects.
  • Represent the firm in client meetings, design reviews, and industry events.
  • Work with design teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence.
  • Contribute to business development efforts by supporting proposals and presentations.
  • Create and execute impactful design solutions that elevate the overall client experience and drives business success.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in architectural design and graphic design.
  • Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Design (AEC) industry strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple projects and prioritizing deadlines. 
  • Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional creativity and innovative and high-quality design work.
  • Excellent communication, emotional intelligence, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Revit, Lumion, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Enscape. Microsoft 365 experience with an emphasis on PowerPoint.
  • Ability to balance creativity with technical and financial feasibility.
  • Experience working with diverse project types, including private healthcare and federal.
  • Experience with motion graphics, web design, or video editing is a plus.

Amount of Travel Required

This position will require occasional travel, some of which may be international.
