Description
The Administrative Coordinator will support the development and operations of remote patient management services for diabetes care. This role focuses on enhancing patient care, improving outcomes, and expanding access to diabetes education through remote patient monitoring by providing essential administrative support. This is an in-office role in Coral Springs, FL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Support: Assist in the implementation and oversight of telemedicine and remote patient monitoring programs, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and best practices.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of program activities, monitor progress, and prepare reports for leadership to evaluate program effectiveness.
- Team Coordination: Support the scheduling and coordination of virtual assessments and care plan development for patients with diabetes, collaborating with diabetes educators and medical assistants.
- Data Management: Help in the collection and analysis of data from remote monitoring devices to support care plans and identify areas for improvement. Create and run reports to track business goals.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational standards, including ADA, AADE, HIPAA, and other relevant bodies. Assist in implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance program outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Technology Integration: Support the integration of new digital health technologies to enhance the delivery of remote diabetes education and support.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma. Associate’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in healthcare administration or a related field, with exposure to telehealth or remote patient monitoring services.
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Knowledge: Understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, and familiarity with remote patient monitoring technologies and telehealth platforms.
