The HR Recruiting Specialist will be responsible for the overall administration of the sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding of new hires. This individual will collaborate with the HR team to ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws as they pertain to recruiting, creating job descriptions and the onboarding of employees. Additionally, this position will collaborate with HR team members to contribute to a positive workplace environment and support broader HR initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:?
•Execute the full life cycle recruitment process in Paylocity to allow for streamlined recruitment/onboarding process
•Collaborate with hiring managers to define/re-define job requirements for position openings
•Posts job openings internally (Paylocity) and externally (Indeed, Idealist, College Job Boards, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other social service-related job venues)
• Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews
•Develops a consistent branding presence with schools of social work and online job boards to assist job seekers with identifying MCCH as an employer of choice
• Establish a well-defined pipeline of candidates, interns, and aides for various positions
• Attend 4 local job fairs (either virtually or in-person) yearly to re-introduce MCCH to the community at-large
•Track and report recruitment metrics and KPIs
•Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
•Ensure compliance with labor laws and hiring regulations
•Continuously improving recruitment processes and tools.
• Serves as point person for Paylocity for the Recruiting module in the Paylocity system
• Develops strategies for sourcing warm leads and candidates who are not actively seeking employment
• Maintains and updates the applicant tracking process
• Prepares and updates job descriptions to ensure ADA compliance and consistency throughout MCCH
• Negotiates offers of employment with potential new hires and completes the full new hire process, including background checks
• Conducts new hire orientation and onboarding of new employees and interns. Assists with off-boarding and exit interviews. Synthesizes exit interview data and recommends improvements to support the employee experience within MCCH
• Manages all vacancies for MCCH and coordinates with the social media team to promote and advertise vacancies to broad audiences
• Assist Program Managers to ensure staff are up to date with required certifications and training
• Tracks employee compliance documentation in Relias and on employee tracking spreadsheet
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or human resources development. In lieu of a degree, 3-5 or more years of relevant experience may suffice.
• Experience with all facets of Paylocity HRIS/Payroll system preferred.
• Three to five years’ experience in Human Resources to include full life cycle recruiting, preferably in a non-profit, social services related organization.
• Must have working knowledge and be current with all relevant Federal, State, and Local employment-related laws.
