Content Writer (Temporary)

The Role: 

The Caesars Digital Casino team is looking for a talented and experienced content writer to create content for its range of branded apps and websites in North America. Caesars Digital currently operates a number of market leading brands including Caesars Palace Online, Horseshoe Online Casino, Tropicana Casino and Harrahs Casino, as well as a digital casino in the Sportsbook product. We are looking for a content writer with experience in the online gaming sector to develop content for these products. 

Our content will be divided into 2 categories:

• Educational content: this includes FAQs sections, ‘how-to’ guides, and other content that makes it easier for our customers to sign up to our products, understand how things work (for example bonusing), and how to play different products (slots, blackjack etc.).
• Editorial content: this is more focused on content that announces new games and features. Examples include information on new exclusive game launches, or guides to new major product features. This content would be updated regularly.

The above content will sit on the web (website / blog) and potentially also in our apps.

We are looking for an individual who can work closely with colleagues in the Caesars Digital team to develop a comprehensive content plan and write and update content regularly. Over time we want this role to drive the use of different formats (text, images, video etc.) to communicate effectively across our platforms. 

Key Relationships:

This role sits within the commercial team, which also looks after the creative that is used across the casino brands.

Other key stakeholder teams include: product, promotion / customer retention, social media marketing, PR and more.

Experience & Competencies:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in a content creation in the online gaming sector in North America
• The ability to write engaging and informative content in the English language
• Enthusiasm and proactivity to refresh content with new stories
• Excellent people skills – the ability to work well with multiple stakeholders
• An understanding of online casino – what makes the product fun, and the ability to communicate this to customers
• The ability to work to deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and accuracy 

The hourly pay range for this position is $31.25- $41.00 USD.
