Summary:
Under general supervision and following established procedures, the Accounting Representative is responsible for a variety of accounting duties and tasks.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Balance and submit remits
- Paying invoices
- Posting refunds using our system
- Depositing cash and physical checks from posting clerks
- Enter Judgements into our system
- Cut checks and send to proper receiver
- Posting commission and cost reimbursement from our clients into our system
- Sending Firm Fee funds downtown
- Issuing refunds to our consumers
- Correcting payment allocations in our system of record

Requirements
Required Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 6+ months accounting experience
Competencies:
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Extreme attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- An ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivation
Mandatory overtime may be required last business day of the month due to increased workload volumes. No Weekends.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This role operates in a professional office setting, routinely working with standard office equipment. Generally, due to the nature of this office position, the person in this role would be required to talk and hear, sit or stand for long period of time, and use their hands and fingers, to handle and feel. Occasionally required to walk, reach with arms and hand, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Vision abilities required by the job include close vision.

Wage Disclaimer: The starting wage for this position is $18.00/hour. The wage range for this position is $18.00/hour to $21.00/hour.
