Job Description

*This role is with Colla Health, a portfolio company of Menlo Ventures.

About Colla Health

Our vision is to improve the quality of life of people with cancer. Today, we provide behavioral health care to the 17 million cancer patients in the US as an extension of their medical treatment. We have a world-class team of clinicians, technologists, and healthcare operations builders passionate about partnering with cancer centers to deliver supportive care to their patients.

Role Overview

Colla Health is seeking a Senior or Staff Software Engineer to serve as our lead engineer and first in-house technical hire. This is a unique opportunity to not just build software, but to help establish the engineering function from the ground up. You’ll play a critical role in designing and delivering the systems that power Colla Health’s mission to improve the quality of life for people with cancer.

You will work closely with our Head of Product, CEO, COO, Head of Clinical Operations, contract engineers, contract designers, behavioral health therapists, and other roles as the team grows. We will be building technology that supports our partner cancer centers through EMR integrations, enables our clinical team through easy-to-use care management tools, and helps patients with their mental health needs as they navigate their cancer journey. In this role, you’ll have the chance to shape not only the technology but also the engineering function and team.
