Purchasing Agent position focuses on process improvement scope. Work is relevant to pursue automation, ease of work, standardized work, project management and problem solving. This workstream provides services to the Supply Management and Supply Chain organizations.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Accountable to ensure standard work in the purchasing process is being followed.
• Execute modifications or create from scratch HOW TO documentation to create effective work. Playbook management and maintenance.
• Support internal and external audits on procurements for all sites. Provide reports as requested by auditors.
• Manage direct material cash flow opportunities enterprise level to support working capital.
• SNOW ticket system reporting and management. (Service Intakes from requestors)
• Leads the Council management, Innovation program among other initiatives within SMSS.
• In front-end procurement mode, analyzes data and determines factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
• Coordinates and follows up with production, warehouse, and engineering personnel to ensure appropriate procurement, scheduling, and movement of materials and services.
• Compiles information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.
• May monitor performance of suppliers and collaborate on demand analysis planning.
• Manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advance degree with 0 years of experience.

• Knowledge in Excel Intermediate & Advanced
• Presentations Skills in Power Point
• Yellow Belt Certification
• Languages: Spanish / English / French
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Analytical Thinking
