As the Office Manager at McLane Global, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth functioning of administrative activities, support staff productivity, and maintain a positive and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure the office is operating smoothly.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
  • Develop office policies and procedures, and ensure they are implemented appropriately.
  • Organize office layout and maintain office condition, including the arrangement of desks, equipment, and cleanliness.
  • Serve as the point of contact for office vendors, service providers, and building management.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and office events.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication - such as writing and editing emails, drafting memos, and preparing communications.
  • Flawlessly execute tasks with a sense of urgency. 
  • Provide administrative support to senior executives on an adhoc basis, including coordinating meetings, ordering supplies and meals, greeting customers, etc.   
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • High school diploma required, a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
  • Time Management and ability to meet deadlines  
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently 
  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager, or Administrative Assistant.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • Experience in managing corporate events and employee engagement  
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with a strong attention to detail 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point) 
  • Ability to read, write and speak both English & Spanish fluently (preferred)  
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed  
  • Licensed Texas Notary  

Working Conditions

  • Keyboarding - (Up to 8 hours per day) Entering text or data into a computer by means of a keyboard. Devices include a traditional keyboard, 10 keypads, touch screen and others. 
  • Ability to work in both office and production floor environments. 
  • Sitting/Standing - (Up to 8 hours per day) The ability to alternate between sitting and standing at a desk is present when a worker has the flexibility to choose between sitting or standing as needed when this need cannot be accommodated by scheduled breaks and/or lunch period.  
  • Communication Verbally - (Up to 8 hours per day) Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to clients or the public and to convey detailed spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.  
  • Additional physical efforts pertaining to the job
