The Role
Our project manager combines consulting with implementing Enterprise Software and business processes. Working with partners, directors, and solutions specialists, you’ll execute project management tasks which include but are not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Manage the effective delivery and timely completion of WMS and/or ERP and/or CRM projects in alignment with defined scope and budget.
- Manage additional requests and associated budget.
- Ensure all communication with the customers is timely and effective.
- Anticipate, identify, define, plan, assign and follow up on tasks, milestones, deliveries, dependencies, and critical paths for the project team and clients.
- Apply appropriate implementation approaches with a full understanding of delivery concepts, consulting tools and methodologies.
- Onboard, supervise, and mentor project coordinators.
- Could require traveling from 25% to 50% of the time.
- Require the availability of taking calls from clients outside working hours in rotation within the team.
Desired background:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in project management, people management and ideally in the consulting area.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, logistics and retail would be a nice-to-have.
- Ability to manage difficult situations, tackle problems and crisis situations, in a composed manner, inspiring team confidence.
- Ambition, curiosity, enthusiasm, strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working independently in an ambiguous environment with pressing deadlines.
- Ability to handle multiple mandates simultaneously under the supervision of a project director.
- Ability to travel within Canada and the United States.
- Strong teamwork abilities.
- Experience with task and project management tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps, Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, etc.
