Manager, Premium Sales - University of Washington
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Ticketing, Tyee/Advancement, Marketing, MMR, CRM/Data and others in administration to identify prospects, create new sales and retention priorities
- Aggressively canvas Seattle business community for purpose of new lead creation
- Set appointments with current as well as past customers
- Cold-call new leads to generate sales
- Develop and maintain a personal client base of premium ticket buyer prospects and customers
- Contact area businesses and individuals via phone, in-person appointments and networking events to sell premium season tickets, partial plans, and group ticket plans
- Support the planning of new sales and retention strategies for all premium seating areas
- Work closely with Assistant AD of Revenue Generation to identify leads and digital marketing campaigns
- Utilize national best practices to streamline sales processes and maximize results
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by Senior Director of Sales
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Administration or business field
- Experience working in B2B, premium or sponsorship sales with collegiate and/or professional sports team
- Highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics
- Demonstrate a proven track record in sales and building quality relationships
- Experience with Paciolan and Salesforce preferred
- Effectively express and present ideas verbally and in writing
- Be able to generate original and imaginative solutions to business opportunities
- Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly and annual sales goals established by management
- Maintain a flexible work schedule, including all home football games
Pay Transparency
The base pay for this position is $26.44- $31.25 per hour. Please note that the pay provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and/or sales compensation. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as well as geographic location.
