Job Description

  • Ensure and report overall project performance, cost, schedule, and mission success
  • Serve as point of contact responsible for interfacing with internal and external stakeholders as well as customers throughout the project life cycle
  • Provide on-the-ground communications and coordination
  • Perform integrated scheduling and de-confliction
  • Ensure coordination, communication, and integration among the other stakeholders and task managers, Department Directors, and functional leads to ensure success for the program
  • Partner between other stakeholders and task managers and Department Directors to provide agility in workforce utilization, training, and tools
  • Demonstrate insightful leadership and analysis in several areas, to include team building, business model adjustments, project planning/management, technical implementation, and organizational optimization to reach desired goals
  • Effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with a diverse group of external and internal personnel, to include senior government customers
  • Make judgments required for planning, prioritizing, organizing, and executing a diversified workload
  • Address complex challenges, develop robust solutions, and guide the team
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Training: 

    • Master’s Degree in technical, business, or related field preferred

Experience:

    • 10+ years of directly related experience leading teams
    • Experience managing projects of varying size and complexity
    • Working knowledge of Earned Value Management, budgeting, and financial management

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience working within the Missile Defense Agency or other DOD departments/agencies
  • Experience managing one or more task order
  • Experience managing facility modification projects    

Security:

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
  • Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
  • Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
  • Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary: $170,000 - 190,000
