Project Manager

Job Description
- Ensure and report overall project performance, cost, schedule, and mission success
- Serve as point of contact responsible for interfacing with internal and external stakeholders as well as customers throughout the project life cycle
- Provide on-the-ground communications and coordination
- Perform integrated scheduling and de-confliction
- Ensure coordination, communication, and integration among the other stakeholders and task managers, Department Directors, and functional leads to ensure success for the program
- Partner between other stakeholders and task managers and Department Directors to provide agility in workforce utilization, training, and tools
- Demonstrate insightful leadership and analysis in several areas, to include team building, business model adjustments, project planning/management, technical implementation, and organizational optimization to reach desired goals
- Effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with a diverse group of external and internal personnel, to include senior government customers
- Make judgments required for planning, prioritizing, organizing, and executing a diversified workload
- Address complex challenges, develop robust solutions, and guide the team
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Training:
- Master’s Degree in technical, business, or related field preferred
Experience:
- 10+ years of directly related experience leading teams
- Experience managing projects of varying size and complexity
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management, budgeting, and financial management
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience working within the Missile Defense Agency or other DOD departments/agencies
- Experience managing one or more task order
- Experience managing facility modification projects
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
- Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary: $170,000 - 190,000
