One of our companies is currently looking for a Clinical Data Analyst in the United States.
As a Clinical Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in improving patient outcomes and enhancing care coordination by transforming healthcare data into actionable insights. Your work will directly impact decision-making across clinical and operational teams by developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that reflect provider performance and population health metrics. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to analyze complex datasets—including claims, lab, pharmacy, and EMR data—and provide clear, data-driven recommendations aligned with business objectives. Strong analytical skills, healthcare domain knowledge, and the ability to communicate findings effectively are key to success in this role.
Accountabilities:
- Gather and translate stakeholder requirements into clear, actionable data tasks
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate healthcare data
- Analyze diverse datasets to inform clinical programs and operational processes
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor patient populations and care utilization
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to support data-driven decision-making
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and integrity across multiple data sources
- Present findings and insights to leadership and internal/external stakeholders to support business initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Healthcare, or related field (required)
- 5+ years of professional experience in clinical or healthcare data analysis (required)
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing complex datasets (required)
- Experience working with healthcare data such as claims, lab results, and pharmacy data
- Familiarity with healthcare coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, DRG) and quality measures (HEDIS, CMS, NCQA)
- Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel (required)
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
- Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate technical information effectively
