Position Summary

JE Technology Solutions, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of aircraft ground support equipment for fall protection, is seeking a talented and motivated student to join our team as an intern. This role offers the opportunity to work closely within a collaborative team environment, supporting cross-functional teams including Estimating, Sales and Engineering. The intern will play a key role in identifying client needs, conducting outreach, and helping tailor our products and services to solve real-world problems. This role requires a blend of technical curiosity, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering customer-centric solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct outreach to potential clients to generate leads and assess interest in JE Technology's offerings.

· Interact directly with potential clients to gather insights into their operations, challenges, and business goals.

· Work to understand the specific needs of clients and match them with the company’s capabilities.

· Gather feedback from clients and relay insights to the Sales and Estimating teams for solution development.

· Analyze potential client systems, processes, or technical needs to identify opportunities for improvement using JE Technology's products.

· Assist in collecting market intelligence to identify service opportunities and trends.

· Collaborate with the Estimating Team to develop custom solutions tailored to client requirements.

· Support the creation of client proposals, including benefits, pricing structures, and implementation timelines.

· Maintain accurate records of client interactions, findings, and proposal components.

· Participate in product and capability training to understand JE Technology’s full suite of services and machinery.

 

· Work Location: Onsite-Apopka, FL - Reliable commute to work is required.   

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Business with Technical Focus, or related field.
  • Strong interest in technical sales, client relationship building, and manufacturing solutions.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and machinery, especially in machining, welding, bending, and cutting operations.
  • Local candidates are preferred. Relocation assistance is not available.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Analytical and problem-solving mindset

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

· Comfortable working in both technical and client-facing environments

· Required to be able to carry some heavy pieces, usually under 50lbs. 

· Applicant must be willing to work 30-40 scheduled hours. Monday through Friday based on company needs.
