Job Summary:
The Regional Trainer supports Operations as part of Training and Development and is responsible for coordinating and delivering as an individual contributor the required training requested to meet the business needs, as well as, various assigned tasks to ensure quality SLAs -both internal and external- are met.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for working production review inventory to meet business needs and Keep Skills Alive (KSA)
Collaborate with the Operation’s Team Members to develop process workflows, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training materials for workflow process and client requirements
Serve as primary User Acceptance Testing (UAT) group on all new implementations
Set up and coordinate training meeting/deliveries for business partners
Assist with onboarding education programs for new employees and facilitate new hire training classes. Both in-person and virtually
Assist with travel/orientation set up for new employees
Create user manuals, job aids, handouts, and other visual materials to meet the business partner needs
Attends meetings to obtain information for use in training programs, or to inform management of training program status
Monitors, evaluates and records training activities and program effectiveness
Individual coaching(mentoring) for both new hires and tenured team members
Evaluate team member competencies and assist with any training to improve accuracy and efficiency in deficient skill areas
Evaluates team member’s abilities by administering pre and post training assessments
Communicates with Operation Leaders regularly regarding overall facility procedures, professionalism, training needs, inventory control, etc.
Periodic travel to ideal dental office locations, if necessary
Performs other duties as assigned
Skills and Competencies:
Proficient with dental software
Ability to select and use appropriate training/instructional methods and procedures - when learning or teaching new things
Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects
Ability and desire to train others
Demonstrated proficiency in OneNote, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, WebEx, and Visio
Ability to quickly learn newly developed software applications for purposes of training others
Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods This includes alternative ways to inform and keep engagement via written, oral, and visual media.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Keeps up-to-date technically and applies new knowledge to the job
Ability to provide and represent professionalism in job
Working knowledge of HIPPA privacy and Security rules
Average manual dexterity in use of a PC, phone, sorting, filing and other office machines
Ability to analyze information and use logic and process to address work-related issues and problems
Ability to operate with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to demonstrate a customer service orientation
Ability to apply problem solving skills
Ability to perform well in team environment
Ability to handle conflict appropriately and constructively
Ability to create written processes and new hire and continuing education training materials as needed
Ability to perform oral presentations with excellent quality in front of up to 50 people.
Required Qualifications:
High-School diploma or equivalent required
5+ years of experience performing in class or on the job training strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
LMS experience preferred (Absorb)
Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) Preferred
Experience in developing and maintaining training documentation, including manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and job aids.
Experience communicating and coordinating with a distributed workforce
Experience in applying various adult learning principles, methods and standards
E-learning design authoring tool experience preferred (Articulate and Vyond)
5+ years of dental experience preferred
May be required to travel based on business needs (Up to 50%)
