About the Role
As the Performance Creative Strategist, you'll be at the forefront of our paid social efforts, owning the end-to-end creative strategy process. You will also support the management of paid campaign launches and optimizations, ideate and brief new creative concepts based on hypotheses and insights, help scale and optimize our content production engine, report on actionable learnings, and drive our growth marketing strategy forward.
You will report to the Director of Paid Social. You must be commutable to our NYC headquarters and will operate in a hybrid environment with 2 days per week in the office (Tuesdays & Thursdays).
What You’ll Do
- Drive our end-to-end creative strategy process for paid social, turning research, competitor intel, creative instinct, and performance data into new, top-performing ads
- Develop comprehensive creative briefs for our in-house design and content teams, and external ugc partners
- Develop and execute a high-velocity creative testing roadmap across Meta, TikTok, and other paid social channels
- Support day-to-day management of paid social campaigns by launching, analyzing, and optimizing creative test campaigns to reduce cost per acquisition and increase lifetime value (LTV) over time
- Collaborate with our in-house teams to develop compelling ad copy, landing pages, and image assets to optimize for performance
- Analyze performance data and metrics to identify top-performing creatives and iterate based on learnings
- Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, and emerging creative best practices in paid social to continuously innovate our strategy
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of performance marketing experience, with a strong focus on paid social creative strategy and execution, ideally at a high-growth company
- Hands-on experience working in digital marketing platforms such as Meta and TikTok Ads Manager, with knowledge of bidding, targeting, and optimization levers
- Internet obsessed - passion for social trends, meme, and creator culture
- Demonstrated ability to translate data and insights into effective creative strategies and high-performing ad concepts
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

The starting base salary for this role in New York, California, and Washington is between $120,000-$150,000 + target equity + benefits. The base salary offered is dependent upon many factors including skills, experience, location, and education. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Additionally, this role is currently eligible to participate in GlossGenius’s equity plan as well as a range of health & wellbeing, retirement savings, and other benefits within our total rewards offering.
