Job Description
We are looking for a strategic and dynamic Director of Marketing Strategy & Operations to join our team! This leadership role is key to aligning sales and marketing strategies with our go-to-market (GTM) technology initiatives, supporting New Business (SMB, Commercial, Enterprise) and Expansion Sales. The ideal candidate will optimize revenue-generating activities to drive growth and efficiency across the organization.
Strategic & Operational Support:
- Support the Head of Marketing and their leadership team with day-to-day operations, strategic planning, data and analytics, and budget management.
- Establish a business rhythm with cross-functional teams to review performance on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Develop and maintain scalable processes to ensure best practices in funnel management and data-driven decision-making.
- Identify key growth levers, size their potential impact, and present recommendations to leadership.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Prioritization:
- Drive and own the prioritization process between Marketing and key stakeholders—Growth, Sales, RevOps, and Finance—to align on strategic goals and deliver on GTM OKRs.
- Analyze current business trends, uncover key drivers of change, and forecast performance.
Performance Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze the entire marketing funnel’s performance, develop data-driven insights, and recommend improvements for optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
Team Development:
- Mentor the marketing operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in marketing operations, sales operations, or a similar role in a high-growth, dynamic environment.
- Deep knowledge of sales and marketing strategies, operational management, and GTM technologies.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation, and related technologies.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive strategic vision and operational excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Additional Information
The annual base salary range for this position is $207,000 — $297,000 USD.
Compensation is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level. Bonus/equity may be available.
