Milestone Recovery is here to provide the best quality of services to empower individuals with substance use and behavioral health disorders to attain stability, dignity, recovery, and an enhanced quality of life. We have openings in our Old Orchard Beach location for the Program Administrator. We are looking for dedicated people who are passionate about working with people at all levels of social economic standings and help them navigate through withdrawal into Recovery. Milestone Recovery is a low barrier facility that allows clients to access services no matter the status of their insurance coverage. This allows staff at Milestone Recovery to function in a more client-centered way. The voices of our staff are greatly valued in implementing changes, encouraging improvements, and promoting the overall care and wellbeing of the clients who Milestone Recovery serves.?
Position Profile: Responsible for the daily operational functions of the Extended Care Program.
Qualifications Required: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the field of Psychology, Administration, Social Work, or Rehabilitation. A minimum of two years’ experience with administrative or managerial responsibilities and experience in human-service or health care programs is preferred. Experience with chronic substance use and mental illness is a plus.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
· Provide daily direction regarding operations to the Extended Care Program
· Work cooperatively with the Clinical Team Lead (CTL) to address all programmatic needs
· Responsible for coordination of admissions in partnership with CTL and Administrative Care Coordinator
· Facilitate all intakes of new clients
· Responsible for rent collection of clients and tenants on campus
· Perform regular audits of client files in partnership with CTL
· Responsible for gathering documentation for records requests for Extended Care Clients
· Create schedules and organize program regarding med disbursement, client appointments, grocery shopping, etc.
· Supervise the kitchen/food service staff and ensure proper nutrition and diet for clients
· Responsible for meeting all contract/licensing requirements in partnership with CTL
· Ensure the continued licensing of the program(s) in partnership with CTL
· Prepare and maintain necessary service reports required by State
· Assist in the development and implementation of a program evaluation system
· Schedule and attend appropriate staff and in-service training meetings
· Work with CTL to ensure program stays within annual fiscal year budget
· Organize billing for submission to Portland for biweekly billing
· Work with Director of Facilities to oversee the proper functioning of all facility systems and cleanliness of the building
· Develop and maintain effective working relationship with community agencies
· Ensure the promotion of community awareness of the Milestone program
· Develop policies, procedures, and systems to ensure the Extended Care Program runs smoothly
· Exercise confidentiality of client information
· Willing and able to work as a team member
· Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours (+) per week, 8 hour shifts, flexibility required
Physical demands and work environment: Freedom of movement on a regular basis. Operating basic office equipment in a normal office environment. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. May spend extended periods operating a desktop computer, requiring hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity; physical activity requires walking, bending, standing and lifting.
