We are searching for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team in Scottsdale, AZ. This entry-level role offers tremendous growth potential for early career professionals interested in finance and accounting. The AP Coordinator will assist with processing vendor payments, processing vendor invoices in a highly automated environment, resolving discrepancies, responding to inquiries, maintaining records and documentation, and supporting the AP team with various administrative tasks to ensure smooth financial operations.  This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional development and advancement within our Finance-Accounting department at Fender.

This is a hybrid role based out of Scottsdale, AZ.

Essential Functions:

  • Process Vendor invoices with varying degrees of complexity
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for AP documentation
  • Support the team with basic invoice research and discrepancy resolution
  • Route invoices through appropriate approval workflows
  • Communicate with internal departments to gather missing information
  • Assist with data entry and basic reporting tasks
  • Support the accounts payable team with administrative duties as needed
  • Learn and follow department best practices and procedures
  • Participate in process improvement efforts
  • Other tasks, as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • 1-2 years of office/administrative experience (accounting experience a plus)
  • Strong math skills and basic understanding of accounting principles preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to grow within the finance/accounting field
