The Role
Facet is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our People team. As a HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in supporting our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our People functions. You'll be a key player in developing and executing people programs, managing critical People processes, and providing exceptional support to our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of responsibilities, including tasks related to employee onboarding and offboarding, benefits and payroll administration, maintaining employee records and data, People program coordination, and assisting with People team initiatives. You will work closely with the rest of the People team, managers, and employees to provide support and resolve inquiries related to People policies, processes, and programs. Day-To-Day Responsibilities
- Benefits Administration: Take ownership of benefits administration and related tasks, including managing open enrollment, coordinating with our benefits broker, and leveraging our HRIS platform to ensure accurate and timely benefit delivery.
- Leave Management: Coordinate all aspects of employee leaves, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and providing clear guidance to employees.
- Semi-Monthly Payroll Administration: Oversee the accurate and timely processing of semi-monthly payroll through our automated payroll administration platform. Perform data entry, audits, and adjustments as necessary.
- HRIS Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and data within our HRIS platform, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Act as the point of contact for people operations, systems, and reporting.
- Employee Onboarding & Offboarding: Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a welcoming and smooth transition for new hires and a respectful departure for exiting employees.
- Employee Engagement Initiatives: Assist with various employee engagement initiatives, including coordinating virtual events, managing the employee recognition programs, and managing people-related external content such as our company careers page and LinkedIn account.
- People Operations: Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our People operations, ensuring a seamless experience for all employees. Provide timely and accurate support and resolve inquiries related to People policies, processes, and programs, acting as a trusted resource for employees.
- Develop People Programs & Processes: Assist in the design, development, and implementation of new and existing people programs and processes that align with Facet's values and business goals.
- Hiring Operations Support (as needed): Provide support for hiring operations as needed, which may include screening candidates, coordinating interviews, assisting with the overall hiring process during periods of significant hiring volume.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2-4 years experience in Human Resources/People Operations, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Proven experience in benefits administration, payroll processing, and leave management.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms (experience with Rippling and Workable are preferred)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling sensitive data and information.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality with all employee and company information.
- Strong discretion and judgment in handling sensitive situations and making informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving, taking initiative, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Clear, open, and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, managers, and the People team.
- Comfortable moving quickly and working in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment. Has excellent organizational skills in order to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in this atmosphere.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in a fast-paced, growing company.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- $65,000 - $85,000 base salary + bonus + equity determined by the experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant - Please note, our salary ranges are based on current market data.
