Our customers are residential and commercial OEMs; you experience Elan controls when you eat a pizza, get ice in your drink, enjoy a warm home, have a clean plate in a restaurant or get a vaccine. We are constantly adding new customers and controls into production and our ERP/MRP systems are growing in kind. We are looking for people who do things the right way with existing methods and are open, thoughtful and engaged as we review and improve upon them.
Job Summary:
We need an Accounting Generalist to support the Director of Finance with responsibilities including standard accounting tasks, special projects, and serving as backup for AP/AR Clerk and Dir of Finance as needed. An associate’s degree in accounting is required and a bachelor’s degree is a strong plus. This is an in-person, full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, a 401K and excellent healthcare insurance. We will consider part-time applicants only if on a regular schedule, though with reduced benefits.
Duties:
· Perform monthly and annual accounting close including journal entries, account reconciliation and preparation of schedules.
· Produce accurate, timely financial reports and maintain system, records, and controls.
· Perform projects as outlined by Director of Finance including coordination with Operations, Engineering and Sales.
· Maintain compliance including customs tariffs and sales & use tax reporting.
· Coordinate and assist with the preparation of annual budget and forecasts as well as analyzing and reporting variances.
· Assist with any internal or external audits.
· Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with all guidelines and requirements.
· Work with current business systems (Sage ERP and MiSys MRP) and business analytic tools.
Requirements:
· Some general accounting role with ERP is desired.
· Minimum associate’s degree in accounting. Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance related a plus.
· Solid Excel skills, and Office 365 proficiency, required.
· Tech competence with Sage 300 ERP and MS Power BI a plus.
· Clear and concise writing abilities and capacity to analyze/present data.

Job Particulars
· Pay: $25 to $35 per hour. 40hrs/week. In person, M-F 8:00-4:30. Part-time may be negotiable w/ reduced benefits.
