The Role:

• As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll have the unique opportunity to help us answer the question: “How can a law firm work at scale?”.

• Like most software companies, you’ll have to think like our customers, understand their goals, and design product experiences that help them succeed. Unlike most software companies, you’ll also work side by side with our lawyers, understand their workflows, and design products that accelerate them.

• In this role, you’ll collaborate directly with the founders, define UX patterns, and ensure that our technical team is building software people can use. You'll have a direct impact on our product and user experience as we create tools to make contract review faster and more efficient.

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate directly with the founders, engineers, operations team members, and lawyers.

• Design workflows for skilled professionals operating in a complex domain

• Solve complex problems that require bringing together a mix of software, AI, and skilled humans, knowing when to use which, and why

• Get firsthand experience building applications that push the boundaries of productive AI.

• Set foundational patterns for our company’s design organization

• Hire and mentor the next generation of designers as the company grows.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 5+ years of UX design experience. Ideally, building products for users who are less technical and operate in complex domains.

• Problem-focused: Strong sense of the problem behind a problem, and attention to detail in delivering high-quality products.

• Builder mindset: Excited about the opportunity to create and scale systems from the ground up. Experience with both UX and UI, able to design a product end-to-end.

• Collaborative: Effective communicator who thrives in cross-disciplinary teams. You love to empathize with users, understand the assumptions that drive their behaviour, and strive to build solutions at their level.

• Ownership: Driven to take responsibility for projects from ideation through execution. You’ve seen problems no one else had and fixed them.

• Curiosity: Passionate about learning, excited to expand your toolbox of possible solutions.
