Marketing Intern (part-time)

This is a 5-week, part-time (up to 29 hours/week) internship. Interns must currently be enrolled in a bachelor's program and available to work in our NYC office on a hybrid basis.

An intern with the North American Markets & Partnerships practice will support our US/Canada Sales Operations & Marketing teams in prospecting of private equity clients through assistance with open source and public records research, as well as through the development and curation of internal databases and resources.

The summer intern will learn the fundamentals of the Control Risks sales pipeline, gain insight into how we work to separate our message and value offerings in the consultancy space/Americas region, develop their eye for prospective private equity clients, understand how to properly vet leads, and get a front row seat to how we market ourselves and our services to private equity clients.

Our Sales Support team works to uncover net new prospects, generate leads, develop outreach messaging, assist with internal systems maintenance, provide net new & existing account intel for Account Managers, contact warm leads following the firms’ webinars, and jump into new initiatives that support our service lines.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Conduct public record and open source research on potential private equity clients
• Learn nuances of Control Risks’ messaging/voice within the Americas region
• Gain experience working within a CRM system
• Develop skills in prospecting/outreach for both cold & warm leads

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritize work and provide proactive follow-up.
• Self-starter who is results-oriented, resourceful, and an out of the box thinker.

Undergraduate interns earn $19/hour.
