WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
We’re looking for motivated and versatile Frontend Software Engineers to join our Engineering team through this pooled pipeline. As a Frontend Software Engineer II, you’ll focus on building end-to-end user interfaces and delivering polished, high-quality frontend experiences.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving user-facing problems with an emphasis on UI design, performance, accessibility, and maintainability. Successful candidates in this pipeline may be matched with one of several high-impact product or platform teams based on experience, interest, and business needs.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Build and maintain scalable, reliable, and user-friendly web applications focused on frontend development

  • Develop UI components and frontend logic using modern JavaScript frameworks

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to design and implement intuitive, accessible, and performant user interfaces

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices and architecture discussions related to frontend development

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to ship features that have real user impact.

  • Debug and resolve production issues affecting frontend systems and services

  • Write tests and documentation to ensure product quality and maintainability

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • ~2 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on frontend development

  • Experience building frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular)

  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and frontend build tools

  • Solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and responsive design principles

  • Familiarity with APIs and integration with backend services

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering high-quality user experiences

  • Comfort working in a collaborative environment and giving/receiving feedback
