Systems Engineer (Lead or Senior) – Reliability, Maintainability & System Health

The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking a Lead or Senior System Engineer with Reliability, Maintainability and System Health experience to join the Special Project Dallas (SPD) P-8A Advanced Airborne Sensor system engineering team located in Richardson, TX. The position will be an integral member of our Systems Engineering organization working with an integrated team to analyze Reliability and System Health data. The AAS program are in various program life-cycles (development, production, and sustainment). This engineer will be required to support the reliability and maintainability analysis in various stages of the product life-cycle.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead the analysis for reliability, maintainability and system health.
Deliver customer data that include FRACAS and ESS reports
Engage with customers regularly during Failure Review Board meetings
Identify failure trends associated with production and sustainment hardware
Coordinate root cause and corrective action data
Work with suppliers to analyze their data deliverable for accuracy (FRACAS and ESS Reports)Report)
Support proposal activities that will impact the Reliability and Maintainability scope of work
Maintain the Reliability Site Report
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Special Programs Access may be required per the customer. Certain Special Programs require that the candidate have only U.S. Citizenship or no dual citizenship.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
Experience with system engineering principle (systems requirements, design and analysis)
Experience with RM&SH engineering principles (RM&SH requirements, predictions and performance)
Experience with Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System
Experience with performing failure analysis
Great communications skills
Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):
Working knowledge of qualification and environmental testing requirements for airborne systems
Working knowledge of parts, material and process related to Electronics and Mechanical structures
Working knowledge in Reliability Engineering tools including the Reliability Workbench and Gold
Working knowledge in use of the production quality tool MESci
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.

Summary pay range:
Lead (Level 4) - $128,350 - $173,650
Senior (Level 5) - $157,250 - $212,750
