Boeing has an exciting opportunity for a Communications and Branding Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) to join our team in Seattle, WA.

This role initiates, inspires and guides the development and execution of exceptional brand marketing in support of Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) business goals. This individual will be instrumental in leading a cross-functional team of marketers, communicators, product owners and other subject matter experts. You will collaborate closely with creative teams to launch Boeing products, create new customer experiences and tackle a variety of complex challenges. Using an objective and insights-driven approach, we help refine and connect the brand with current and future customers all over the world.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Strategizes, plans, and coordinates high impact brand marketing activities globally for one of Boeing’s most significant BCA product lines

  • Owns the translation of business objectives into brand strategies that connect with target audiences

  • Leads an integrated marketing communications team, collaborating cross-functionally to achieve shared goals

  • Develops creative briefs for promotional content that inspires our creative teams to deliver effective marketing concepts

  • Builds relationships and gain insight from diverse groups of people in a variety of disciplines within the larger organization

  • Draws on many different sources of insight and knowledge to weave together a strong creative narrative

  • Reacts quickly to new information, opinions and direction and strategically pivot when necessary

  • Works within a flat hierarchy, be a real person and an excellent teammate, supporting each other to succeed together

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, advertising or related field

  • 1+ years driving or influencing marketing communications strategies

  • 1+ years working with multiple internal and external stakeholders (i.e. business partner, customer, Finance, suppliers) in planning and executing projects

  • Experience building relationships and partnerships with all levels of employees, including executives

  • Familiarity with research methodologies as well as brand and marketing models

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 3: 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Level 2: 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience managing global marketing and branding activities and projects

  • Airline or aerospace industry experience

  • Client side or agency side experience developing and executing multichannel marketing communications

  • Advanced degree in marketing, business, advertising or related field

  • Fluency in other languages is a plus

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range for Level 2: $68,000 - $92,000

Summary pay range for Level 3: $86,700 - $117,300
