Director, Oracle EPM Data Technology

JOB SUMMARY:

Argano is seeking a dynamic and experienced EPM Data Technology Director to lead and manage a high-performing Team of consulting professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of consulting services to clients, ensuring quality and efficiency in project execution, and fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented Team environment. You will leverage your leadership skills to drive client success, mentor Senior & Junior consultants, and support the overall growth of the EPM Data Technology Team within the EPM Consulting Practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consulting, excellent people management skills, and a passion for delivering results in complex business environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a Team of consulting professionals, providing guidance and support in their career development.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with Team members to provide feedback, set goals, and ensure professional growth.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative Team culture that encourages continuous learning and innovation.
  • Oversee workload distribution, ensuring that projects are staffed appropriately and deadlines are met.
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables and services provided by the consulting Team, ensuring they meet company standards and client expectations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, client satisfaction, and Team productivity.
  • Support the sales and business development process by identifying new opportunities within existing client accounts and assisting with proposals, RFPs, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership to define the strategic direction for the EPM Consulting Practice and identify new service offerings.
  • Contribute to thought-leadership by staying current with industry trends, EPM Business Process feature updates and EPM best practices, while representing the company at conferences, webinars, and networking events.

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of experience architecting, implementing, and supporting Oracle EPM Enterprise Data Management and Data Integrations solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle-Hyperion EPM Suite (On-Premise and Cloud), including EPM Enterprise Data Management (EDM), Data Exchange (DE), EPM Process Automation – EPM Automate & Pipelines, Groovy scripting, and Smart View.  Familiarity with Essbase and/or Narrative/Management Reporting (NR) is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and leading Teams in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices (PMP or similar certifications are a plus).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with client leadership and internal Teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering actionable insights and solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results under pressure.
  • Flexibility to travel
