Are you a creative communicator and a strategic thinker with a passion for making a difference? 

We're looking for a full-time Marketing & Grant Development Specialist to help amplify our mission, grow our visibility, and secure funding to support vital community programs.  This position can be based at any of our locations in Hancock, Washington, or Aroostook Counties. 


What You’ll Do:

Marketing & Communications:

  • Create and manage marketing campaigns across social media, email, and web platforms
     
  • Design brochures, newsletters, press releases, and other materials
     
  • Collaborate with internal teams to share program stories and successes
     
  • Track and analyze campaign performance
     
  • Serve as media contact and manage public messaging
     
  • Build relationships with local organizations and stakeholders
     

Grant Development:

  • Research funding opportunities and write compelling grant proposals
     
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop mission-aligned funding strategies
     
  • Maintain the grant calendar and ensure timely submissions and reports
     
  • Track outcomes and ensure compliance with grant requirements
     
  • Build relationships with funders and explore new funding opportunities

Requirements

  

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing and/or grant writing, preferably in a nonprofit setting. 
  • Demonstrated experience and competency in program and service development based on market research and data analytics, and the marketing of services to identified markets. 
  • Possesses excellent writing and editing skills with strong experience in clear, persuasive writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, funders, and staff.
