Job Description

Eagle Home Health is seeking a Telecommute Medical Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this remote position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and their families. As a Telecommute Medical Customer Service Representative, you will help patients navigate their home health care journey and address any questions or concerns they may have. You will play a critical role in ensuring our patients have a positive experience with our company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Answer incoming calls from patients and their families, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any questions or concerns they may have

- Schedule appointments and coordinate with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective care for our patients

- Accurately maintain patient records and documentation

- Collaborate with insurance providers to verify coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for services

- Educate patients and their families on home health care services and provide necessary resources for continued care and support

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field

- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience working in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software programs

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

Working Conditions:

This is a remote position and requires a dedicated workspace with high-speed internet and a computer equipped with a webcam and microphone. The work schedule will be Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with the potential for occasional weekend and evening coverage. Travel may be required periodically for team meetings or training.
