Role Overview: Growth Manager

As a Growth Manager, you will combine analytical rigor with strategic execution to drive measurable improvements in key business metrics such as conversion rates, revenue per signup, and customer retention. This role goes beyond reporting — we are looking for someone who identifies opportunities, prioritizes initiatives, and moves fast to create real impact, coordinating cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Education teams.

You will propose and lead initiatives that unlock value across our customer funnels, with a clear focus on outcomes rather than vanity metrics. Your main goal will be to make data-driven decisions and execute high-impact actions that drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute Growth Initiatives: Propose and implement experiments, product improvements, content strategies, and automation to increase conversion and revenue.
  • Prioritize for Impact: Identify and prioritize opportunities based on potential impact and execution speed.
  • Funnel Analysis: Analyze the complete user journey to detect drop-offs and understand root causes, segmenting by user type, country, platform, and channel.
  • Metric Definition and Tracking: Define key metrics (e.g., lead-to-meeting conversion, revenue per signup, rebuy rates) and ensure consistent, reliable measurement practices.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Apply statistical rigor — knowing when to use mean or median, recognizing outliers, and interpreting noise versus signal.
  • SQL Proficiency: Ability to request, interpret, or directly run SQL queries when needed.

  • Proven experience leading growth strategies in a startup or as the first Growth/Product hire, ideally in bootstrapped environments.
  • Hands-on experience managing performance marketing budgets of at least USD 50K/month with a strong focus on ROI.
  • Background in fast-paced industries or businesses requiring constant iteration to scale or survive.
  • Strong prioritization and execution skills, able to operate independently without waiting for detailed instructions.
  • Comfort with making decisions based on incomplete data and improving data quality along the way.
  • Familiarity with statistical concepts and SQL is a plus.
